Five Newcom Business Media Titles Apply for ABC Membership
ABC recently announced that Newcom Business Media Inc. has selected the organization as its auditor of choice for five business publications: Canadian Technician, HighwaySTAR, Plumbing & HVAC, Today’s Trucking and Transport Routier.

ABC Forms New Canadian Digital Advisory Committee, Holds First Meeting
ABC has formed a new Canadian Digital Advisory Committee to help it examine trends, business opportunities and ABC’s role in verifying and reporting interactive and emerging media such as Web sites, e-readers, mobile app purchases, hybrid audience measurement, ad-serving operations and more.

ABC is Moving: How Will it Affect You?

Beginning Thursday, March 18, at 3 p.m. CT, ABC’s offices will close so that we can move our Schaumburg, Ill., headquarters office to nearby Arlington Heights. ABC’s new building will allow us to better accommodate the Audit Fast Track staff that now works at an ABC-managed location instead of at the publishers’ offices.

During this time, ABC’s e­-Data and online filing tools will be offline, as will our e-mail and phone systems. We will be back up and running by Monday, March 22, with a new address and new phone numbers.

ABC/ABCi Mobile Survey Highlights

In September, ABC and ABC Interactive released the results of a survey titled Going Mobile: How Publishers are Preparing for the Burgeoning Digital Market. The survey sought to learn more about ABC-member publishers’ current mobile initiatives, their strategic plans and ABC’s potential role.
